Congratulate My Friend On His Engagement

sad when a president has to pound his fist on the table (*).

Our president went to Chatellerault (Vienna) to reassure us about the measures taken by its rulers. Bin Yes! sometimes they would be worried.

Nicolas Sarkozy has announced that he had "banged his fist on the table" for the Fund of social intervention is in place next Monday.

sad time when a president must enter the fist on the table to be obeyed.
When you think that at a time Sarkozy improvising its decisions in haste and that everything went without a hitch, Budget or no budget. (*)

sad time

52% of French people have a good opinion of MoDem (*)

The Democratic Movement is leading in polls BVA-Orange-France Inter-L'Express.

In the latest poll by BVA-Orange-France Inter-L'Express it has been retained by the commentators cautioned reporters that the parties' popularity of the executive "and" cote d influence (barometer) personalities. " Nobody says the last part of the survey which focuses on "current issues", the last is strong interest in respect of our movement.

We discover that we are supported by 10% of French and we have the privilege of being "the party with the most favorable opinion" without supporting us (42%) far ahead of the PS (37 %) and UMP (32%)! This
accompanied by fewer adverse opinion (39%, others have 44% more).

Does Wine Cause Red Stool

World Water Day

Far from our eyes and our daily concerns, we do not always reflect the number and speed at which certain species of plants and animals disappear from the depths of our oceans , seas, lakes, rivers ...

Yet these are our most threatening the fragile balance of marine biodiversity: climate change, overfishing of certain species, coastal erosion, sea trash ...

The
a pollution drained by rivers into the oceans, contaminating marine species, to cause their disappearance, dramatic for the fishing industry that sustains thousands of people around the world . Dramatic as when these species are contaminated and can be found on our plates!

Need I remind you that we can not live without water?

By signing in November 2006, the Nicolas Hulot's Ecological Pact, Francois Bayrou - like Nicolas Sarkozy, pledged, if elected, among other measures to:

  • create the post of deputy prime minister responsible for sustainable development (and not a single department of ecology),
  • introduce a carbon tax to reduce greenhouse gas emissions emissions (but not solely to replace the business tax),
  • redirect agricultural subsidies (without our food security is dependent on the EU agenda or pressure from farm lobbies)
  • create a participatory democracy to preserve biodiversity (not to mention the good resolutions at the close of the Grenelle Environment)
  • implement ecological education in schools (and not a reduction in school time).

However, it is urgent ...

Every citizen, every day, can play a role in preserving our common good water by simple gestures, already known for the greatest number. This Sunday is a good opportunity to remember them or discovering new ones (click the image) ...

... that this day is not a coup sword in the water!

MoDem on broadcasting. George

"NO" to the audiovisual Trust.

The reform of public broadcasting "deserves a vote of no confidence," said Francois Bayrou. "It goes back over 30 years ago." He called the project "regression to be unbearable for those who want France to be a democracy that respects the principles of allowing the people to be freely informed and therefore more responsible." For information "Independent" must "that budgetary independence is ensured," consider, he explained.

For the member of the Pyrenees-Atlantiques, "Returning to the essential issue that was one of Valery Giscard d'Estaing, breaking with the ORTF," by appointing the chairmen of the executive from public television , which will also "dismissed" by the authorities.

"The budget discussion will be renewed each year a challenge is a way for power and most of the time to hold public broadcasting," he said, denouncing "as addictive as many regressions ".

That was the official position. To this
I bring a small personal accuracy. at 74, when the bursting of the ORTF, the chairs were still appointed by the government. Only with François Mitterrand, with the creation of the High Authority which later became the CNCL and finally the CSA, that public broadcasting has taken a major step toward "independence.
Render unto Caesar what belongs Caesar.

Sarkozy has little power over public broadcasting.

The political project of the Democratic Movement.

The political project of Movement Democrat. A humanistic model for the twenty-first century.

We want to change French politics: bipartisanship, perpetual confrontation and artificial, is an impoverishment of spirit and a misunderstanding of the complexity of time. It is a verrouillage.Pluralisme political union pluralism, pluralism in the media, only to allow citizens aware and informed, to think the challenges ahead, not just those of the past.
pluralism and open dialogue can when the situation requires broad consensus nationaux.Si one wants to be pluralism, define a new project, independence is the condition needed. The cohesion and solidarity within the movement are just autant.Il is vital to define a new project for our company.
This is especially necessary in the deep crisis we are experiencing. Our model
French and republican aims to improve the situation of all, while the movement of financial capitalism encourages ever-increasing and ever accelerating inequality.
It is therefore for a new current to get to work for and think that France has another model, the humanist model for the XXI century. That is our choice of background.

What are the pillars of the humanist model for the twenty-first century?

  • society must be creative.
There is no company that makes radiate its values if it is dominated economically and technologically. The values of creation and entrepreneurship are central to this project: the entrepreneur, researcher and artist, are also essential to creative society humanist project. The key to creativity is education that requires effort and all the solidarity of the nation.

  • It takes a fair social model.
The reforms are a necessity for a country to adapt to new times. But they will not be accepted permanently, if the spirit of justice and the rule inspires them, and if we refuse the ghettos due to the money, originally, age, social position.

  • society must be sustainable.
solidarity between generations is a requirement as high as solidarity within a generation. We are hard faced with threats on the balance of the planet and our country. The passage of energy abundant and cheap energy scarce and expensive, the climate shock, the growing deficits and debt, the aging of our populations, monetary disorders are also threats to the future. The virtue of the humanist model, is balance.

  • should the balance of power and therefore Europe.
If we want international justice should be rejected domination. To withstand the great powers dominating, must bring about a world organized. Europe is collected is the necessary precursor of necessary regional organizations. That is why the fight for a Europe that protects diversity, friendly people who compose it, is not only a fight for ourselves but for all humanity. We need a democratic membership . We believe that democracy requires awareness and civic responsibility. They are entitled to the truth of public debate and protection against abuse of power. They are entitled to fair institutions that guarantee the separation of powers, executive, legislative, justice and fair representation of citizens.
