Does Wine Cause Red Stool

World Water Day

Far from our eyes and our daily concerns, we do not always reflect the number and speed at which certain species of plants and animals disappear from the depths of our oceans , seas, lakes, rivers ...

Yet these are our most threatening the fragile balance of marine biodiversity: climate change, overfishing of certain species, coastal erosion, sea trash ...

The
a pollution drained by rivers into the oceans, contaminating marine species, to cause their disappearance, dramatic for the fishing industry that sustains thousands of people around the world . Dramatic as when these species are contaminated and can be found on our plates!

Need I remind you that we can not live without water?

By signing in November 2006, the Nicolas Hulot's Ecological Pact, Francois Bayrou - like Nicolas Sarkozy, pledged, if elected, among other measures to:

  • create the post of deputy prime minister responsible for sustainable development (and not a single department of ecology),
  • introduce a carbon tax to reduce greenhouse gas emissions emissions (but not solely to replace the business tax),
  • redirect agricultural subsidies (without our food security is dependent on the EU agenda or pressure from farm lobbies)
  • create a participatory democracy to preserve biodiversity (not to mention the good resolutions at the close of the Grenelle Environment)
  • implement ecological education in schools (and not a reduction in school time).

However, it is urgent ...

Every citizen, every day, can play a role in preserving our common good water by simple gestures, already known for the greatest number. This Sunday is a good opportunity to remember them or discovering new ones (click the image) ...

... that this day is not a coup sword in the water!
